


Here are all phases running until September 7th 2025. I have already posted the initial Phases 1 & 2 as a separate post and will post phases 3 and 4 individually a couple of weeks prior to commencement as a reminder.
Phase 1 & 2 – 16th June until the 27th July
Silk Mills Road will be one-way, heading from the A38 Wellington Road roundabout as far as the Mountway Road/Bishop’s Hull Hill junction traffic lights, where it reverts to two-way.
Bishops Hull Hill is open as normal, however you cannot turn right into Silk Mills Road when exiting.
Mountway Road is open as normal, however, you cannot turn left into Silk Mills Road when exiting.
Gillards and Meadowside Close, can only turn left into Silk Mills Road. Badgers Close, can only turn right into Silk Mills Road.
Quartly Drive. Turn right on exit for the A38, or left for the village centre. You cannot turn right onto Silk Mills Road via Waterfield Drive.
Waterfield Drive is open as normal, however you can only turn left into Silk Mills Road.

Phase 3 – 28th July until the 17th August
Silk Mills Road will be one way, heading from the A38 Wellington Road roundabout as far as the Mountway Road/Bishop’s Hull Hill junction traffic lights, where it reverts to two-way.
Bishops Hull Hill is open as normal, however when exiting its left turn only, you cannot turn right into Silk Mills Road or carry straight on into Mountway Road.
Mountway Road will be closed at the junction with Silk Mills. Exit and access will be via the Bus Gate, the Cameras will be switched OFF.
Gillards and Meadowside Close, can only turn left into Silk Mills Road. Badgers Close, can only turn right into Silk Mills Road.

Phase 4 – 18th August until the 7th September
Silk Mills Road will be one-way, heading from the A38 Wellington Road roundabout as far as the Mountway Road/Bishop’s Hull Hill junction traffic lights, where it reverts to two-way.
Bishops Hull Hill is open as normal, however you cannot turn right into Silk Mills Road when exiting.
Mountway Road is now open as normal, however, you cannot turn left into Silk Mills Road when exiting. Bus Gate WILL be in operation again.
Gillards and Meadowside Close can only turn left into Silk Mills Road. Badgers Close, can only turn right into Silk Mills Road.
Quartly Drive. Turn right on exit for the A38, or left for the village centre. There is no exit onto Silk Mills Road via Waterfield Drive.
Waterfield Drive will be closed between Waterfield Close and Silk Mills Road, meaning no access to or from Silk Mills Road. Residents will be able to travel both ways up and down Waterfield Drive to access Bakers Close, Great Mead, Waterfield Close and Jarmyns. However, the only access in and out of Waterfield Drive will be via Bishops Hull Road enabling access to the A38 and our village centre.
