For this month’s article, I wanted to highlight this thoughtful tribute to Pete Frost, the former postmaster and owner of Bishop’s Hull Stores.
In a recent social media post, current owner Tom Parker said:
“We are honoured to be able to put a new bench outside the shop for people to use. This bench is dedicated to the memory of Pete Frost, a former Postmaster and owner of Bishop’s Hull Stores. Pete sadly passed away earlier this year, and we were looking for something to remember him. We would like to thank the Frost family for giving their blessing for us to do this.”
Tom went on to say:
“Thanks must go to Andrew Parker, my father, who made the bench, and the Frost family, who kindly provided the plaque.”
What a lovely and thoughtful gesture from the current owners, Tane and Tom Parker, thank you both.
Our thoughts are with Pete’s family and friends.
