Bishop’s Hull Scarecrow Competition 2026

Scarecrow Competition 2026.

No Age Restriction – FAMILY entries welcomed, as are entries from Social Groups, ADULTS and of course, CHILDREN!!!!!

Theme – Nursery Rhymes

CLOSING DATE for entries is Saturday 8th August. 

Scarecrows must be on display from Sunday 9th August to enable viewing by residents and judges. 

All entries must be visible from the road and remain on display until Saturday 15th August. 

Judging will take place on Sunday 9th and Monday 10th August. 

A Scarecrow trail will be advertised from Tuesday 11th August and the winning entries will be displayed at the Flower Show on 16th August. 

Bishops Hull residents only please. 

To enter, simply inform Amanda  Gallacher by email: amandasgallacher@gmail.com giving your Name, Address and a contact number. 

If you prefer, you can collect an application entry form at Bishops Hull Post Office & Stores.
